Community Service means that we want to make a difference on our campuses and in our communities.  We know that giving back to others unselfishly makes the world a better place and makes us better people.   Serving and giving helps to connect us.

Community Service:

Chi Omegas love helping out in the community. Whether they are volunteering at ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans) local no-kill animal shelter, or working with their philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Chi Os are constantly trying to reach out and help the community. They love participating in events such as Race for the Cure, Zoo-to-Do, and Trick-or-Trunk. From painting adorable kids' faces to writing letters to soldiers overseas, Chi Omegas always find unique and fun ways to give back to their community!

Chi Omega Fraternity supports the Make-a-Wish Foundation as part of our philanthropy. Each year, our chapter does one major event to support this organization. Rho Chapter hosts a silent auction each year during Parent's/Homecoming weekend. There is a wide variety of items auctioned, ranging from local restaurant gift cards to items from boutiques throughout the nation. This event is a great way for everyone to introduce their families to their fellow sorority sisters, all while raising money for such a wonderful cause. Each year Rho Chapter raises enough money to grant one wish to a child from Make-a-Wish's Gulf Coast region!
