develops us into well-rounded people. We
engage with others to develop outside interests and expose us to new and
differing points of view. By
contributing in the larger world, we demonstrate that Chi Omega makes a
difference in the lives of women.
Chi Omega remains one of the top contenders in Greek Games and Intramural Sports. Since sororities have been participating in Greek Games, Chi Omega sisters have dominated in the pyramid event and Greek Games as a whole. Last year, our Chi-O Crazies IM volleyball team made it to the finished 3rd in the playoffs. In the IM Swim Meet, Chi Omega won the overall meet, won both Relays, and had 6 individual first place finishes.
The Gamma Lambda sisters of Chi Omega are very involved in other activities on campus. For example, we have over thirty members playing eleven varsity and club sports including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, golf, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, cross country, softball, cycling and triathlon. We had 6 girls compete and finish in Rose-Hulman's Triathlon in 2010.
There are also many sisters participating in organizations such as Society of Women Engineers, The Rose Thorn (school newspaper), AXE (chemical engineering professional fraternity), Circle K, Blue Key, Alpha Phi Omega (service fraternity), Habitat for Humanity, Engineers Without Borders and so much more. We have almost 40 sisters on the Career Fair Team. Needless to say, the sisters of the Gamma Lambda Chapter are involved and well cultured women.
