is what binds us to each other and to our Fraternity. The friendships we develop in Chi Omega give
us a home across geography and generations and give us lasting support
throughout our lives.
The women of the Kappa Mu chapter became founding sisters of the Chi Omega fraternity at Sacred Heart University on January 28th, 2012. This day marked the beginning of a wonderful journey for the 174th nationwide collegiate chapter of Chi Omega. Excited to enter the Greek community at Sacred Heart, ninety-one sisters continue the Chi Omega legacy every day and are proud to be a part of something bigger than themselves- something that has brought sincere friendship, love, and inspiration. Alike the nationwide chapters of Chi Omega, the Kappa Mu chapter holds Chi Omega's six purposes close to its heart, because each sister strives to portray these values in her every day life. Soon after initiation day, these women realized that a Chi Omega sister is not something they just became, but it is something they have always been.
