Community Service means that we want to make a difference on our campuses and in our communities.  We know that giving back to others unselfishly makes the world a better place and makes us better people.   Serving and giving helps to connect us.

Omicron Beta Philanthropy
Omicron Beta has made great strides to expand our efforts to raise money for our philanthropy, The Make-A-Wish Foundation.  In the fall semester, the sisters hosted Chi-O Wings for Wishes which is an all you can eat wing event.  This past February, we partnered with the brothers of Sigma Pi for a Valentine's Date Auction in which we raise over $1,000 for Make a Wish!   We sponsored the 7th Annual CHI-O KARAOKE in April of 2011. Various campus organizations formed teams to participate in this dancing and singing competition held at Matoaka Amphitheater.    DSC03492.JPG

Thus far, Omicron Beta has granted two wishes, and we are hoping to grant more soon!  Chi Omega's philantropy chair, Alexis Vera-Cruz, is working hard to raise more money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and get the chapter involved in the community.
