Community Service means that we want to make a difference on our campuses and in our communities.  We know that giving back to others unselfishly makes the world a better place and makes us better people.   Serving and giving helps to connect us.

Nu Beta hosts two annual events for Make-A-Wish, including a pancake breakfast before a home football game and a spring cookout. The 2014 Wake Up For A Wish pancake breakfast raised over $43,000 for Make-A-Wish.

The Nu Beta chapter's local philanthropy is service spent at the Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama. The chapter hosts several events for the kids including a Halloween Carnival and Valentine Cookie Decorating Party. Nu Betas also volunteer each semester, spending time on their own with the kids.

In addition to our local and national philanthropy, Nu Beta is also extremely involved on and off campus. Our Panhellenic Delegate relates news to the chapter about any upcoming service events, so Chi Omega is represented well in the Tuscaloosa community.
