CONGRATULATIONS on being a
chapter again this year.
Now tied as the BIGGEST Greek Organization on campus!
To the wise owls of Chi Omega; great job for reaching a combined Grade Point Average above the All Campus Female Average!
Chi Omega recently received Excellence Awards in program areas of Membership Development, Scholarship, Chapter Management, Outreach, and CHAPTER OF EXCELLENCE!
Also, another exponential success was our most recent Red & Yellow Parents Auction. It was held to raise money for our Panhellenic philanthropy, with the goal of all Panhellenic sororities being $2,000. However, the ladies of Phi Epsilon went above and beyond this year, surpassing the goal singlehandedly raising $2,000 ourselves!

Yippie Chi-O Fall 2011
On September 18, 2011 we held our annual philanthropy right behind Ball Memorial Hospital. We had such a great turn out with 20+ teams participating. This year our Wish Kid is Whitney a three year old with mitochondrial disease. Mitochondrial disease affects all major organs, making extreme temperatures difficult along with constant symptoms. We were fortunate enough to get to meet Whitney, along with her sister Brooke and both their mom and dad. Whitney's wish is to go on a Disney Cruise, and with help from different communities we reached our goal. As a second part of our philanthropy, the local Muncie Chili's was kind enough to let 10% of their earnings go towards Whitney and her wish.
In addition to Chi Omega's national philanthropic cause, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, our local chapter also participates in raising money and awareness for the Breast Cancer foundation. This philanthropy touches a special place in all our hearts as recently a sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer during her college career. In addition, many sisters are affected daily through strong women in their lives such as mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and friends who are diagnosed with the disease. Together we work every year to help fight the growing epidemic of Breast Cancer to save lives.

To live constantly above snobbery of word or deed; to place scholarship before social obligations and character before appearances; to be, in the best sense, democratic rather than 'exclusive', and lovable rather than 'popular'; to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand; to be womanly always; to be discouraged never; in a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my Fraternity and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart that she may be a symphony of high purpose and helpfulness in which there is no discordant note.
