Chapter Updates
It is here finally! Check out our BRAND NEW website! http://usfchiomega.weebly.com

Happy Commencement! We've very excited to see our sisters walk across the stage and celebrate their collegiate achievements!

Check back with us soon! We will be getting a brand new chapter website! Stay tuned here for more chapter updates through the beginning of summer!

We recently said goodbye to 21 sisters as they continue their Chi Omega journey as alumnae. It is always bittersweet to see sisters graduate, but we thank them for their contributions to their chapter and hope they know they are leaving the chapter in great hands. Sisterhood is for a life time, sisters. May Chi Omega be yours forever.

We have had an incredible weekend! We attended Florida State Day and had the pleasure of meeting Chi Omega collegians and alumnae from all over the state and a presentation from Chi Omega's National Archivist! Then, we had a wish party for Jenna, a child getting her wish to go to Hawaii granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and had our "Scholarship is Sweet" scholarship banquet! PHEW! Life's great when living Chi Omega's 6 purposes!

We'd like to thank everyone who attended our Give Back Night at Chick-Fil-A and our Bull Market Event! We raised over $200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation!

IT'S CINCO DE CHI O! April 5, 1895 118 years ago Jobelle Holcombe, Dr. Charles Richardson, Ina May Boles, Jean Vincenheller, and Alice Cary Simonds founded our beloved fraternity. We are not only the best but also the LARGEST women's organization in the United States. We hope to ever stay true to Chi Omega's vision: "Sisters inspired by our values who serve the world while keeping Chi Omega ever at heart." Say it loud, and say it proud: CHI OMEGA, YOURS FOREVER!

Hippity-Hop Chi O Rocks! We were very happy to be able to have a easter egg hunt with the children at Tampa General Hospital. "To be discouraged never."

Happy B-I-G Appreciation Week to all our BIGS! Thank you for modeling the way for your littles and all future Theta Thetas!

Congratulations to our sisters who were initiated into the Fraternal Values Society! Thank you for living "constantly above snobbery of word or deed" and being "in the best sense, 'democratic' rather than 'exclusive.'" Continue to show the entire USF community what our letters are about. We love you!

PHEW! We just dance for 17 hours straight For The Kids (FTK) at USF's 2013 Dance Marathon! We were so grateful for being a part of such an amazing event. Shout outs to our sisters on the Dance Marthon Executive Board. You all put on a fantastic event!

We were so thankful to have had the honor of being a part of TEAM 3 with Sigma Phi Epsilon, Lambda Theta Phi, and Delta Sigma Theta! Greek Love!

Rock climbing and movies and popcorn, oh my! We had a very fun sisterhood retreat full of sisters cheering on sisters, rock climbing races, and movie sing-alongs!

Congratulations to all the wonderful Theta Thetas chosen to disaffiliate this summer either as a 2013 Panhellenic Executive Board member or a 2013 Recruitment Counselor. Although you cannot wear our letters, we know you will serve as proud Chi Omegas!

A special "Thank You" to Gail Newfield, a Phi Gamma initiate and mother to a Theta Theta, for giving the chapter a wonderful and very informative nutrition workshop!

There are 45 wonderful newly initiated Theta Thetas and we could not be more excited to officially call them "sister!"

Brrrr, it's cold outside! But we could not be more excited to serve our community at USF's Stampede of Service!

We would like to welcome our 2013 Executive Board, Cardinal Cabinet Directors, and Chair positions. Congratulations and here's to a great year!

EXTREME PAN LOVE! We were recognized at the 2012 Chi Omega Convention as one of three chapters NATIONWIDE to receive the Chi Omega Jobelle Holcombe Panhellenic Award! The award is given to chapters who have not only been able to look beyond the letters and show Pan Love to all organizations, but have also proven themselves as leaders in their Panhellenic Community. GO Theta Theta!

Make-A-Wish Foundation
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is Chi Omega Fraternity's National Philanthropy. Since the start of our alliance, Chi Omegas have made a difference in many children's lives through volunteering time, talents, and dollars. The Make-A-Wish Foundation has honored Chi Omega for the incredible volunteer efforts of our members.

Each spring, Theta Theta throws a "Wish Party" for a deserving child getting their wish granted. In 2011, we threw a Wicked themed party for a wonderful little girl named Desiree who wanted to see Wicked on Broadway.

In 2012, a little boy named Gabe got frosty with his wish to see snow and wolves.
Our Story
It all began on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas when four young women, with the help of a local dentist, established the secrets and symbolism that today bind over 260,000 women. This small band of women founded Chi Omega after realizing a need for an organization that would foster both friendship and respect for the potential and inherent value of women. Over the years, Chi Omega has provided its members with unique opportunities in leadership, scholarship, and lifelong friendship - striving to provide each Sister with a commitment to personal integrity, excellence in academic and intellectual pursuits, intergenerational participation, community service, leadership opportunities and social enrichment.

The Theta Theta chapter began its journey October 19, 1968 at the University of South Florida. Since then, almost 1200 women have had the pleasure of calling Theta Theta "home." With awe-inspiring friendships and a deep history of sisterhood, Theta Theta has inspired many to do, be, and become the best version of themselves. Members have gone on to become engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, marketing representatives, psychologists, mothers to Chi Omega legacies, and much more. However, they have never forgotten the vision of Chi Omega: "Sisters inspired by our values who serve the world while keeping Chi Omega ever at heart."

Recruitment
Chi Omega is FUN! Every year, over 5,000 young women across America join the largest women’s fraternity in the world for sisterhood and lifelong friendships.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Theta Theta chapter we encourage you to visit the USF Panhellenic website that is listed in the links section of this page.
