Chi Omega's elected to key Student Government Association leadership roles!
In February, 2009 the Troy University Student Government Association held campus wide elections for key leadership roles on campus. Two Chi Omega's have been elected by the student body to fill key positions.
Morgan Hooper, 2009 Recruitment Chair has been elected Vice President of Campus Activities
Kayla Clemons has been elected Secretary
Rebecca Jones, a Senior member of Chi Omega has earned the Biology Scholars award and the Beta Beta Beta Leadership and Scholarship Award. Rebecca is currently serving as the President of Beta Beta Beta, which is the National Biological Honors Society.
Sound of the South is host to 3 terrific Chi Omega's! Lauren Smith served as Captain of the Majorettes for 2007 and 2008 and Lauren Carter and Sharilyn Pettus are current majorettes!
Congratulations to Sara Mattox for being chosen as a 2009 IMPACT Leader for 2009!
Blair Cowen has been selected the Sophomore Board Representative for Circle K!
Sister Laci Whitman was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society - more academic excellence by Iota Kappa members!
Chi Omega members continue to contribute to the community! Meghan Bledsoe was elected President of Troy University Animal Advocates for a second year!
Alyssa Frank, a Junior majoring in Print Journalism is serving as Publicity Chairperson for the Troy University Panhellenic Council - a great way to develop skills for a successful career!
