Service
Community Service means that we want to make a difference on our campuses and in our
communities. We know that giving back to
others unselfishly makes the world a better place and makes us better
people. Serving and giving helps to
connect us.
Chi Omega is extremely involved on and off campus. Every year, we are one of the smallest chapters to grant the wish of a girl from South Carolina for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. We spend the year raising money through several fundraising events including: a cornhole tournament, Christmas caroling, car washes, raffles, and more! As a chapter, we also serve the local community through volunteering at the Greenville Humane Society throughout the year. However, our sorority's commitment to community service does not stop with our national philanthropies. We have also spent afternoons tutoring at-risk youth and children, Saturdays helping to build a house for Habitat for Humanity, and also volunteer for events on campus and through the Heller Service Corps.
