Participation in Activities develops us into well-rounded people.  We engage with others to develop outside interests and expose us to new and differing points of view.   By contributing in the larger world, we demonstrate that Chi Omega makes a difference in the lives of women.

Chi Omegas got together for our annual holiday party.  We enjoyed a variety of homemade soups and chili, tasty appetizers, breads and other treats of the season!

The main feature of the day was great conversation and meeting several new people to the group.  We also enjoyed a spirited gift exchange with Owl slippers and a Chi Omega apron as highly sought after items.

Every women also brought food items to donate to a local food banks.  Thank you ladies for all your donations, they will be greatly appreciated!!

Our Story
It all began on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas when four young women, with the help of a local dentist, established the secrets and symbolism that today bind over 260,000 women. This small band of women founded Chi Omega after realizing a need for an organization that would foster both friendship and respect for the potential and inherent value of women. Over the years, Chi Omega has provided its members with unique opportunities in leadership, scholarship, and lifelong friendship - striving to provide each Sister with a commitment to personal integrity, excellence in academic and intellectual pursuits, intergenerational participation, community service, leadership opportunities and social enrichment.
Community Service means that we want to make a difference on our campuses and in our communities.  We know that giving back to others unselfishly makes the world a better place and makes us better people.   Serving and giving helps to connect us.

Chi O 's we need your help!!  We are going to volunteer with our national philanthropy to help set up Jolly Holiday Lights on November 15th from 10 am - 1 pm.  Please invite others to help!

Make A Wish is currently looking for volunteers to assist with the set up of their annual light display, Jolly Holiday Lights.  The work will involve light lifting and bending as volunteers help unload pieces of displays from sem-trailers and distribute them around Water Works Park.  People will also help deliver over three miles of electrical cords, dozens of display braces and hundreds of stakes around the park.  Volunteer crews may also help check light bulbs in each display.

A light breakfast and full lunch will be provided for all of the volunteers.

All proceeds from Jolly Holiday Lights go towards granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.  The event runs from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve and admission is $9 per car.

We hope you can help!!  You can RSVP to the evite previously sent out or email
