Friendship is what binds us to each other and to our Fraternity.  The friendships we develop in Chi Omega give us a home across geography and generations and give us lasting support throughout our lives.

West Side Book Club now meets EVERY month (second Wednesday). Read to your heart's content and enjoy some good Sisterhood, too. Our group is thoroughly Panhellenic with members of ZTA, Kappa Alpha Theta, Theta Phi Alpha, and Tri Delta participating regularly. We meet at Starbuck's on Detroit in Rocky River.

Book Club meets at 6:30 p.m.

Panhellenic Sisters and friends most welcome.

Contact Cheryl Lister at if you have questions.

We deeply appreciate participatory membership as well as silent support. Life is busy! But you can add your dues to our support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Chi Omega Foundation (our scholarships and national projects), and Lambda Delta/Kent State and Upsilon Mu/John Carroll. You do not need to attend events in order to be a member of Cleveland West, but we'd love it if you did!

Attend meetings, Sisters' Supper Club, Happy Owlers, Book Club, and events as frequently or infrequently as you choose. We'll always be here for you! Join our Facebook groups (Chi Omega Alumnae Cleveland West, Chi Omega Alumnae Moms, and Chi Omegas Who Run and Night Owls), and stay connected.

Contact Linda Meixner at if you would like to be added to our Punchbowl electronic invitation list.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is Chi Omega Fraternity's National Philanthropy. Since the start of our alliance, Chi Omegas have made a difference in many children's lives through volunteering time, talents, and dollars. The Make-A-Wish Foundation has honored Chi Omega for the incredible volunteer efforts of our members.

At the 24th Walk for Wishes at the Cleveland Zoo on Saturday, July 16, 2016, we had 20 walkers and raised nearly $2,500 for Make-A-Wish. Thanks to all our donors and walkers!

Welcome to Katie Hill, a Berea native working out of the Columbus Make-A-Wish office. She is now the liaison between Make-A-Wish and all the Chi O chapters, collegiate and alumnae, in the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana region.

Kudos to West Sider Rachel C.. who has been a Wish Granter with Make-A-Wish for 20 years.

Our Story
It all began on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas when four young women, with the help of a local dentist, established the secrets and symbolism that today bind over 260,000 women. This small band of women founded Chi Omega after realizing a need for an organization that would foster both friendship and respect for the potential and inherent value of women. Over the years, Chi Omega has provided its members with unique opportunities in leadership, scholarship, and lifelong friendship - striving to provide each Sister with a commitment to personal integrity, excellence in academic and intellectual pursuits, intergenerational participation, community service, leadership opportunities and social enrichment.

Sincere Learning and Creditable Scholarship means that we care about our intellectual development.  We embrace the spirit and excitement of learning throughout our lives and encourage others to better themselves.

Collegians at Ohio chapters are invited to apply for our two $600 scholarships at
